How do I become a member?
Soon, we will have the option of purchasing a membership on our website. Until that time, please contact Genesis Member Services by emailing register@genesisfitness.com or calling 303.837.1234. You may also reach us through the “Contact Us” link on our website. You will be required to sign a Membership Agreement whether you choose to purchase an Annual Membership in full or an Annual Membership paid monthly.
Can I still register for a program if I am not a member?
Yes, anyone can sign up for camp without a membership and pay the regular price for that individual camp as listed on the website. You will find our regular prices to be very competitive for a high quality 5-week group fitness program.
To what am I committing when I purchase a membership?
The membership contract term is 12 months from date of contract. The cost per month is locked for the entire year, even if the price per month changes during the 12-month membership period. If membership in canceled prior to the end of the 12-month term, either an early termination fee of $200 or the balance remaining on the 12-month term will be charged, whichever amount is less. After the first 12 months, membership will continue on a month-to-month basis or cancelled at any time by contacting Genesis Membership Services.
Is there an initiation/enrollment fee or any fees due at sign-up?
There are NO initiation/enrollment fees. The only fees due at enrollment are the dues for the first month. Do keep in mind that membership is a 12-month commitment and you will be charged and early termination fee if you cancel before the end the term.
Can I pay for my membership in full for the year?
Yes, you can make a one-time payment for membership when you initially sign-up or renew. The annual cost of a Standard Membership is $468 and the cost of a Platinum Membership is $2400.
What are my payment options for membership?
You can choose to have your credit card or bank account automatically charged each month or pay in advance for the 12-month term.
Am I required to choose a particular location for all my camps?
No. As a Standard Member, you may purchase camps at any location. Choose the location where you would like to take camp, register and then attend your entire camp at that location. If you decide you would like to switch to a different location for your next camp session, you may do so the next time you register. Platinum membership allows you to attend any scheduled program at any location without restriction or registration.
Am I allowed to purchase more than one camp at a time?
Yes; however, we do not encourage you to participate in more than one camp at a time to avoid overtraining and injury.
Can I pro-rate or purchase a “Custom Schedule” for a camp?
No. While we have allowed this practice in the past, we will now be offering the Standard Membership option in place of “Custom Scheduling”. If you cannot attend every session of a program, Standard Membership is an ideal option because you are receiving all your camps at a 50% discount. The discount is a greater discount than the amount that was previously charged as the minimum cost of a partial camp.
If I have a membership, do I have to take every camp?
No, certainly not. You may register for as few or as many camps as you prefer. However, the value you receive from your membership increases with each camp in which you participate.
What benefits do I receive for becoming a member?
Every program, excluding Saturday drop-in, is discounted 50% for Standard Members. Platinum Members receive many additional benefits (see next question).
What additional benefits do I receive for becoming a Platinum Member?
Access to all scheduled programs without registration - no restrictions regarding location, frequency or timeslot.
GUARANTEED admittance to all programs and events (no risk of being shut out of a program at the last minute).
Saturday Drop-In workouts and registration for Genesis sponsored races and special events are included.
Please note that Platinum Membership includes access to Genesis facilities only during scheduled group fitness programs. Individual workouts are not allowed when an instructor is not present.
Is my membership transferable?
No, program discounts are exclusive to the member and are non-transferable.
How do I cancel my membership?
Membership may be canceled or continued month-to-month after the initial 12-month term. If membership in canceled prior to the end of the 12-month term, either an early termination fee of $200 or the balance remaining on the 12-month term will be charged, whichever amount is less.
Can I temporarily suspend my membership?
No, membership is a year long commitment and cannot be suspended.
Do you have a family or couple’s membership?
No, we currently offer only individual memberships. Program discounts are exclusive to the member and are non-transferable.
Can I purchase a membership as a gift?
Yes. However, the membership will be registered in the gift recipient’s name only and they will need to contact Genesis Membership Services to receive their login name and password and sign a liability waiver. A membership given as a gift must be pre-paid for the first 12 months of membership. The cost is $468 for a Standard Membership and $2,400 for a Platinum Membership.
