Certifications / Education:
Business Management
Experience / Background:
An Avid weight lifter for years, I started the Police Academy and was introduced to Cross fit. Since then I have been hooked! At times the workouts seem impossible to do, but that is part of the process making your body do something your mind thinks it can't. I now compete in Cross fit competitions and charity events held locally, and I have hopes of making it to the Cross fit games in California in 2011 where the winner is labeled "the fittest man on earth".
Expertise:
I'm a big stickler for form. Too many times egos get in the way of form, not in my classes...I won't allow it. Form comes first, I don't care how light you have to go on the weight. I have studied and practiced the proper forms for weight lifting exercises and that's where I bring in the expertise. I can teach anybody how to do the movements, age doesn't matter. You only have to be able to trust and listen to me.
|
Motivation:
Growing up I was the opposite of most, I was an extremely skinny kid that got teased.....sounds weird huh? As a result of this I started to hit the gym with bad intentions, I wanted to get so big that I looked like a science experiment gone bad. Thankfully, I grew out of that phase and now I'm comfortable being and working out as an athlete.
Philosophy:
Abs are made in the kitchen not the gym. Put down the CHEETOS and do some burpees. |
